Stormdale Covered Bridge at Coldstream, Carleton County


The Stormdale Covered Bridge crosses the Becaguimec River at Coldstream, Carleton County. This bridge was built in 1909. The photos show repairs being made to the bridge in the late fall of 2002 when these photos were taken.

Hoyt Station Covered Bridge: Sunbury County



Easily seen from highway 101 at Hoyt, Sunbury County, this covered bridge is located on the Hoyt Station Road. This bridge was built over Back Creek in 1936. .
The Hoyt Station bridge is one of three covered bridges in the Hoyt area. The Bell Covered Bridge is located on the Boyne Road at Juvenile and the Smyth Covered Bridge is located at Mill Settlement. Both the Bell and Smyth bridges cross the South Oromocto River.

Tomlinson Mill Bridge at Licford: Victoria County

This, the only covered bridge in Victoria County, crosses the Odellach River at Licford on the Tomlinson Mill Road.

The longest covered bridge in the world is located at Hartland, Carleton County, New Brunswick. Built in 1901 and covered in 1922, this bridge spans the Saint John River and is 1282 feet long.
