The Turtle Creek Covered Bridge, Albert County



The Peter Jonah Covered Bridge at Turtle Creek. Built in 1912.

Is the Peter Jonah bridge going to be demolished when the City of Moncton builds there new dam on Tower Road.

Sorry Earl, I do not know the answer as I do not live in this area or in Albert County. I would sure hate to see any covered bridge demolished!, so I hope not.

The bridge has been moved to the city's maple sugar camp for restoration and interpretation. It will be maintained by the city.
