Adair Covered Bridge at Cloverdale, Carleton County


The Adair Covered Bridge is located at Cloverdale, Carleton County, and crosses the North Becaguimec River. This covered bridge was built in 1948.

The Adair Covered Bridge was destroyed by fire on October 16, 2009 (approx.). Very sad because it was the work of an arsonist and the government recently put quite a bit of work into refurbishing the bridge. Why would someone do such a thing??
